Named for the city of Danbury, Connecticut where it was first discovered, Danburite is often colorless or white, but it can be pale pink or wine-yellow. Today, Danburite is sometimes used in jewelry, but before that it was used as a healing tool — especially to help mitigate stress and worry. Experiencing sleepless nights? Place a piece of Danburite in your pillowcase and rest easy!
Due to the nature of our products each piece is unique and therefore varies in shape and size. Our sizing of the stones is a close approximation.
Origin: San Luis Potosi, Mexico
How to Use:
Once your new crystal arrives, we suggest cleansing and charging it before you begin using it for meditation, manifestation, or other practices. You never know who has handled your crystal on its journey from where it was harvested to you. Cleansing and charging your crystal ensures that it is ready for you to use however you wish.
One of the most popular ways to use crystals of all shapes is by placing them around your home or workspace. You can also carry them with you in a pocket or purse, or wear them as jewelry.
One of the most versatile crystal shapes is the point. Crystal points are usually tapered and can be used for directing energy. You can use a pointed crystal to focus your intention during meditation or to draw energy toward you. For example, if you're feeling overwhelmed, you can hold a Clear Quartz point in your hand and visualize yourself becoming more centered and focused. Both points and towers are great additions to crystal grids.
When it comes to caring for crystals that are water-soluble or easily damaged by water, it's important to avoid using water to cleanse them. Instead, use dry methods to cleanse them, such as smudging with sage or palo santo, placing them on a bed of salt, or using sound vibrations. It's also a good idea to store them away from humid areas and to handle them with care to avoid accidental exposure to moisture.
