Septarian specimens are believed to be from the Cretaceous period – formed from volcanic activity and the remnants of expired sea creatures. This mixture of sediments formed a mass. When the sea levels eventually receded, exposure to air dried them out and caused shrinking and cracking. Most specimens are composed of Yellow Calcite, Brown Aragonite, grey limestone, and White or Clear Barite. Many believe this stone possesses powerful healing and protective energies.

Due to the nature of our products each piece is unique and therefore varies in shape and size. Our sizing of the stones is a close approximation.

Shipping:
We offer FREE SHIPPING on all domestic orders $75 and over. We also offer international shipping.

International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in shipping and handling fees from Almanac Supply Co. and are the buyer’s responsibility.

Please note that all orders will take 1-2 business days to process prior to shipping from our Chattanooga, TN location. Local customers can choose to pick up their order, usually ready in 24 hours, from our Frazier Ave. store at checkout.
