VITALITY • GROUNDING • BALANCE
Sphalerite is a zinc sulfide mineral that gets its name from the Greek word "sphaleros," meaning deceiving. But fear not! It was named for its seemingly endless variations that make it difficult to identify. It occurs in many different colors, including white, green, red, and black. Black Sphalerite is also called Black Jack and gets its color from large amounts of iron. The presence of iron amplifies its balancing and grounding energies.
Due to the nature of our products each piece is unique and therefore varies in shape and size. Our sizing of the stones is a close approximation.
