Virgo season started on August 23, and I don’t know about you, but it always makes me feel like its time to buckle down and get to work. Maybe it’s the fact that all the kids go back to school at the end of August and early September. Whatever the case may be, I want to buy all the notebooks, make all the lists, and plan, plan, plan my way to an excellent third quarter of the year.
Virgo season is the perfect time make it do!
Analytical, kind, hardworking, and practical, Virgos are known for paying attention to the tiniest details. Their approach to life leaves little to chance, and it’s a trait that I admire. While we all know perfection is just another form of procrastination, the Virgo’s attention to detail is the energy I want to carry with me beyond September 22 —and maybe you do, too. Here are a few rocks and affirmations that will help us do it.
This stone is one of the most powerful stones for harnessing Virgo energy. Red Jasper is a mood stabilizer that settles all of the wildly swinging emotions that come with putting a new plan into action. It grounds you with nurturing and positive energy that clears any blockages that might hamper your productivity. If you’re a worrier or a perfectionist, Red Jasper can help you quiet obsessive thoughts that keep you stuck and help you move forward with confident and creative energy.
I am in control. I have everything I need to get started. I have the necessary knowledge and motivation to complete this task with calm and ease.
Virgo energy can feel somewhat frenetic. They don’t have to dig deep for motivation or creativity because they’re constantly in motion; constantly coming up with new ideas and new ways to approach projects and plans that they already have in place. In short, Virgos can be powerhouses of productivity, but they often need to be encouraged or flat out told to slow down.
Amazonite, which is a verdant shade of blue-green reminiscent of the Caribbean or cool mountain lakes, is the perfect reminder to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine water washing way your anxieties and any negativity surrounding the task you want to complete.
Also known as the “hope” stone, Amazonite is a priceless manifestation tool as well!
I hold space for peace and tranquility in my process. My words and thoughts are honest, articulate, and authentic. I am inspired and filled with optimism and hope.

This magic rock puts the sauce on everything you do. Citrine strengthens your intellect, promotes creativity, encourages self-expression, and enhances concentration. It also has the added benefit of amplifying specific manifestations. If you’re an entrepreneur — creative or otherwise — you need this crystal in your arsenal.
I am the light. I am the light and I am open to all creativity, abundance, and wealth that comes my way.
It really helps if you actually close your eyes and imagine a warm, welcoming, sunshine-y glow that radiates from you at an ever-increasing circumference until it bathes you and the space you’re in.

Whenever you’re taking on new projects or pushing stagnant projects toward completion, you will inevitably encounter feelings of self-doubt. Jade is a stone that will give you the pick-me-up you need to get back on track. Including Jade in your daily meditations will help you discard any negative patterns that trigger these thoughts and feelings.
I am not my past mistakes. I never fail, I learn. I strive to never make the same mistake twice. I always fail up.
If you’re a high anxiety person like me, just the thought of embracing Virgo energy pitches you into negative thought patterns that make you want to quit before you ever start. I’ve included a lot of grounding and calming stones, but I like to double and triple down on magic rocks that smooth out all of those looping negative thoughts, so as a bonus, I suggest hoplite.
Howlite reduces anxiety, unravels tension, and releases stress. Like Citrine, it encourages self-expression, but it’s the emotional variation. So if you’re feeling anxious, insecure, and doubting yourself, share it. More than likely, there are others who feel the same way.
I am not alone in my struggles. I draw strength from my tribe. My insecurities and imperfections make me stronger as I find ways to adapt or overcome them.

I hope that you’ll use these affirmations and crystals in the next few weeks to revive old projects and push them toward completion or plan a productive and abundant third quarter. However, don’t forget to leave space for peace in your process. Remember that work and life aren't a thing to balance, but to blend, and embracing the shifts and changes in the seasons are a way to make that happen.
