The Walnut Street Bridge is reopening! And we're cracking open something special to celebrate.
After 18 months, the Walnut Street Bridge is reopening, and we're joining the NorthShore celebration with Geode Cracking at Almanac, just 1 block from the NorthShore side of the Walnut Street Bridge.
Stop by Saturday, October 3 from 12-6pm, choose your geode, and we'll crack it open in-store to reveal the crystal formations hiding inside. Every one is different, and you never know what you'll find.
Spend the day walking the bridge, exploring NorthShore, and celebrating this long-awaited moment with the neighborhood. We'll be cracking geodes all afternoon, so come make a little discovery of your own.
