Join us for a class on nature journaling in southern Appalachia. Autumn is the perfect time to record changes in nature and practice art making in our journals. We will go over what nature journaling is, how it can be a part of a mindfulness practice, and some techniques that you can use to get your practice started.
We will have two guided nature journaling activities and then some time to free create with your teacher, Katie Sutton, offering pointers and inspiration.
Feel free to bring your own journals and favorite art supplies but we will also have paper, pencils, watercolors, and colored pencils provided, as well as nature items for inspiration.
