We're All Having a Hard Time: Crystals for Gemini Season

Hand holding Tiger Eye Wand

It’s safe to say that all of us are having a lot of feelings right now. Some of us are better at hiding them than others, but even the most stoic among us are beginning to show some cracks in our foundation. Boredom has set in. Our tempers are short and we all want out of this persistent state of limbo right now. To put it simply, we’re all having a hard time, and it doesn’t seem like it will get easier anytime soon.

Smart, versatile, enthusiastic, and positive – these Gemini traits encourage us to lean into the strange and wonderful insight this season can bring. It’s important to find creative ways to remain flexible; to bend and not break. Here are a few stones that will help you embrace these traits and navigate the uncertainty of these COVID times.

Blue Opal

Geminis are known for that curious and mutable nature. Boredom can be toxic for them and it is definitely taking a toll on us this season. Keeping ourselves entertained has become increasingly difficult. Lack of structure makes it easy for us to start many projects, but never finish them because we’re easily distracted. The evidence of those unfinished projects can lead to feelings of inadequacy and listlessness.

Blue Opal will help bring some clarity to any disordered energy you may be feeling and calm the emotional peaks and valleys we’re navigating right now. Also, it’s perfectly fine to quit a project that doesn’t spark joy. Marie Kondo says so! Well, she didn’t say those exact words, but feel free to KonMari any emotions attached to incomplete projects. Tidy up your emotional and spiritual self!

Affirmation for Blue Opal

I quiet my restless mind by actively seeking what sparks joy!

Tiger Eye

Seeing the same people day in and day out is difficult for the most social and fun-loving among us. Isolating with your loved ones or roommates for an extended period of time may lead to some difficult conversations this season. It may even dig up issues that you thought were resolved. The inclination to treat these gripes with each other as silly or unimportant may seem like the right thing to do when we feel there are larger issues that must take precedence. Do I need to tell you that this is probably a mistake?

Tiger Eye will help you find a balance between logic and emotion when you’re in the midst of these discussions. This gold or yellow-brown stone will ignite your natural spirit of discernment to recognize what is driving your reactions — head or heart — and help you come to a practical and fair resolution.

I hear and speak with mental clarity and a heart for forgiveness and understanding.

Pink Calcite will remind you to approach each day with compassion for yourself and others. Gratitude for the seemingly banal bits of everyday life may be your only available joy! Affirmation for Pink Calcite

I treat myself and others with grace and compassion and find joy in small but meaningful things.

This Gemini season will feel like we’re constantly in a battle between head and heart — emotions and logic. Take this time to pay more attention to what really makes you happy and continue your period of self-evaluation. I think we’re all ready for a reboot and getting our mental, emotional, and spiritual house in order will make it easy to step into a new season with confidence and surety of our goals and actions.
